Rhode Island Geography Education Alliance member Mary Grady has penned an article detailing the Secrets of Scituate Reservoir.  With more that 60% of Rhode Islanders getting their clean fresh water from the Scituate Reservoir, understanding the history behind the water is noteworthy considering that the water came a steep price for some communities that today are under water, literally.  Ray Wolf has written two book chronicling the historical geography of the Reservoir and the villages that it flooded.
